Lindsey had a good first meet for 2004! She competed on beam and bars, placing 11th (8.150) and 3rd (9.525)! She did some new skills on beam, including an Onodi-sheep jump-Rulfova combination. Her teammates Nastia Liukin and Hollie Vise won the junior and senior divisions.

After the meet, Lindsey hosted her WOGA teammates and some of the international athletes at her house.

The WOGA Classic is this weekend! This will be Lindsey's first meet since the 2003 American Classic. She will be competing against rising gymnasts from the US, Australia, Russia, and Ukraine.

The rest of her competition schedule has also been added.

We have a lot of updates! First off, Lindsey and the rest of the WOGA seniors had a signing party at the gym to celebrate their scholarships. Photos from the signing party and other events from 2003 have been added.

Inside Gymnastics did an interview with Lindsey about her health status and college. Her next meets will be the 2004 WOGA Classic (January 18th in Allen, TX) and the Parkette Invitational (January 30th in Allentown, PA). The Parkette Invitational will also be shown LIVE on the Comcast Channel. Stay tuned for more details! Lindsey will also be sending more news and updates soon!

Lindsey has been spending the last few weeks talking to coaches from colleges across the country looking to recruit her for their NCAA programs, including top schools like Nebraska and Ohio State. Her WOGA teammates Megan Dowlen, Nikki Childs, Kaitlin White, and Stephanie Gentry will also be graduating next spring and have also been visited by several top schools.

Tonight Lindsey competed in the American Team Cup along with the top 12 juniors and seniors. She competed on bars only, scoring a 9.325 for 2nd place!

Lindsey had one of the best meets of her senior career tonight! She was ninth in the all-around, qualifying her to U.S. Nationals in Milwaukee in June!

On vault she had an 8.450 and on bars she scored a 9.525, the 2nd highest score of the night on the event! On beam she was solid for a 9.000 for 7th. On floor she scored an 8.500 for a total of 35.475! Congratulations Lindsey!

Lindsey only competed bars and beam at the Podium Meet, because she is still recovering from injury and saving her legs for American Classic. On bars she scored a 8.85 and on beam a 9.1. You can download a video of her beam on Abomb's site!

Lindsey will be competing tomorrow in the 2003 National Podium Meet in Fairfax, Virginia! The meet begins at 3:40PM EST and Lindsey will be starting on vault. Several of her WOGA teammates are also competing, including "WOGA 1" - Hollie Vise, Nina Kim, & Nikki Childs; and "WOGA 2" - Megan Dowlen, Nastia Liukin, Allison Taylor, and Stephanie Gentry. Meghan Blair and Lindsey will be competing as individuals. Good luck Lindsey!

Lindsey had a great meet this weekend at the Parkette Invitational! Coming back from her injury hasn't been easy but she did all four events! Starting on bars she did an easier version of her routine (no Jaeger release) and nailed all of her pirouettes and her double front dismount (9.575). On beam she changed a few things around but still did her Kochetkova, back handspring, back tuck; side somi; Onodi (wobble); Rulfova; switch leap to tuck jump 1/1; and did a reverse gainered back pike instead of her normal double tuck dismount (9.200).

She is using her old jungle routine on floor again! Her tumbling passes were: 2 1/2 twist to punch front (stuck); triple twist (fall); front handspring, front double twist; double twist (9.075). On vault she did two really nice Yurchenko fulls (9.500). Overall she finished with a 37.350, good enough for fourth in her age group. She also finished first on beam and third on bars! Lindsey competed last night in the anual WOGA Classic in Allen, TX. Unfortunately she had major mistakes on the two events she competed on, beam and bars. However her routines were elegant and she even showed new skills despite the falls! She scored an 8.700 on bars after only getting one hand on the bar after her hecht mount and then scored an 8.825 on beam with a fall on her side somi. She has some new combinations on beam also: Kochetkova, back handspring, back tuck; switch leap to tuck jump full!

Lindsey competed in the Arques Tournament this weekend, along with WOGA teammates Nina Kim, Megan Dowlen, Kaitlin White, Haiya Rodriguez, Stephanie Gentry, and Nastia Liukin. She finished 4th in the all around with a score of 33.946! She qualified to uneven bar finals and finished 1st with a 9.337! Congratulations Lindsey!

We have some really exciting news - Lindsey will be competing in the Voronin Cup in Moscow from December 15th-22nd along with teammates Stephanie Gentry & Meghan Blair. Congratulations Lindsey!

Lindsey had a rough competition at her first US Nationals as a senior. On the first event, Lindsey pulled her hamstrings and the growth plate on her pelvis while performing a tucked Yurchenko vault. She then had to withdraw from the meet. Get well soon, Lindsey!

Lindsey competed on everything but floor and finished in the top five on beam and bars! She actually had some problems on bars on her Jaeger (she didn't compete it) and her sole circle to high bar (she had to re-do the skill) but her routine and form were good enough for a 9.200 despite the few problems! She did her usual routine on beam and scored a 9.150 for 3rd! Great job Lindsey.

Lindsey competed at the Elite Qualifier held at WOGA last weekend and competed on bars. She performed just a simple layout dismount because she had a minor knee surgery a few days before!

Lindsey had a good meet this weekend, though she still had some problems on beam (8.133). She fell on one element and had problems on her full-twisting back handspring swingdown and on her floor (8.583) tumbling as well! Despite her mistakes, she was still able to come in 7th (34.682) and qualify to Nationals after a great bar routine (9.383) and a solid Yurchenko full (8.583). Congratulations Lindsey!

Lindsey had a good meet at the National Podium Meet on March 1st! Vault and floor were good, and beam was great - she finished 2nd on beam with a 9.175 with her jam-packed routine. Bars did not go well at all and it pushed her down in the overall standings. She ended up 6th!

Today we added four videos from the 2002 WOGA Classic! Also, the videos have been seperated into four different pages by years. Hopefully this should help you find the video you're looking for faster!

We apologize for the lack of updates, but we have a bunch of exciting news! Lindsey's first meet of the season went pretty well. She placed fourth on vault with a 9.150 and did a Yurchenko full. On bars, she had her usual great lines and skills and won the event with a 9.225. On beam Lindsey had some trouble, the worst was falling on her ribs on her side somi and scored a 8.050, which was 7th best on that event. On floor, she did her interesting and well performed routine for an 8.825 and fourth. Overall, she scored a 35.250 for third place behind Oksana Chusovitina and Kaitlin White.

Her second meet of the year was Pikes Peak Cup in Colorado! She scored an 9.800 on vault, which was good enough for 3rd. She had problems on bars and scored an 8.675 and then followed up with two good performances on beam and floor. She scored a 9.375 and 9.350 respectively, for a 37.000 total.

Lindsey had a pretty good start on beam: planche mount; full twisting back handspring, back handsrping (great); full twisting back handspring swing down (beautiful); side somi (wobble); Onodi, full twisting wolf jump (wobble); full turn in attitude; roundoff, double tuck (3 steps)! She scored 8.575 and moved up to 22nd place.

On floor she had some problems: roundoff, back handspring, double arabian (fall); front handspring, layout front, front full; roundoff, back handspring, 2 1/2 twist. She scored an 8.100 and moved to 23rd place. Next was vault: yurchenko arabian tuck, arabian layout. She scored an 8.737 and remained in 23rd.

On her last event, bars, LVE did pretty good: piroeuette to inverts, front giant full-pirouette, piroutte to Tkatchev, Kim to Jaeger, double front with one step. She scored a 9.2, Lindsey's highest of the meet! Unfortunately, Lindsey didn't make the National Team this year, though her bars score moved her up to 21st! She was 16th (this year the top 16 made the National Team) based just on tonight's scores.

Unfortunately, Lindsey made some costly mistakes on bars and was unable to become 3-time bar champion. She had problems on the low bar and her transition, scoring a 7.85. She had a pretty good beam routine for an 8.575, and had a floor routine that had an Arabian double front mount (which she almost sat down), layout front to layout front full, and 2 1/2 twist for a 8.20. Her last event was vault, where she did a tucked Hristakieva for an 8.55. Her total of 33.175 puts her in 24th place. All around finals will be on Saturday from 1-3:30. Good luck Lindsey!

Lindsey's meet at the U.S. Classic went okay, but she qualified to Nationals, which was the main goal! This was her first competition in a while, but she performed her new floor routine for the first time here! She wound up 14th in the all around, and her top finish on an event was 5th on beam. For more of her scores, see the results page. There are also a few pictures from the meet!
