Hi everyone! Well I went to camp in February and the training part of it went
pretty good. I learned a lot and it has helped my training in the gym this past
few weeks. I verified my bar routine, and it was going really good until
I did another "belly flop" landing on my triple dismount. I wasn't
phased by it, but from the look on everyone's faces it must have scared some of
the camp coaches pretty bad because at a meeting the next day my coach and I are
pretty sure it was politely "suggested" that I don't do that dismount
any more.
Well when we got back home I was a little angry and disappointed. I had
landed more than 800 triples at the gym and wanted to get to 1,000. I decided
that I could look at this two ways, I could be angry that I am losing my
dismount and 3 tenths for a super E, or I will learn another cool dismount and I
am gaining 5 tenths in my routine for not having the fall! I have decided to
look at it the 2nd way. So back at the gym I have started working working hard
on my new dismount (a quadruple back!) I hope they like this dismount better!
Just kidding about the quadruple :)
Aloha,
Tessa
